Warehouse safety monitoring with the cameras you already have

Near misses are invisible until someone's hurt. A forklift passes a foot from someone's shoulder every week and nobody logs it, because logging depends on somebody happening to see it. The cameras see all of it; the footage just never gets watched. So the safety data ends up being the incident data, which means it only arrives after the injury.

What Svid watches for on the floor

These checks are optional AI steps over the same footage. You choose which cameras and folders Svid watches, and a check runs on whatever you point it at (a whole folder of yard footage in one action, if that's easier). Six are built for how a site gets hurt:

• PPE Compliance flags people without hard hats, hi-vis or whatever kit your site requires, in the areas where it's required.
• Fall / Slip Detection raises an alert when someone goes down, not when someone finds them. It judges a window of recent frames, so a fall reads as an event, not a snapshot.
• Slip Hazard Detection flags the spill or the leak before anyone goes down on it.
• Forklift / Pedestrian Proximity flags trucks and people getting too close, which is exactly the near miss that never makes the log.
• Restricted Zone Intrusion alerts when someone enters an area they shouldn't be in, whether that's live plant or a roped-off spill.
• Fire & Smoke Watch flags smoke or flame anywhere a camera can see, which tends to be earlier than a point alarm under a high roof.

There's no rate card. The monthly price is based on your own usage for your setup, with a $9 minimum, and onboarding shows the arithmetic on screen across all three watch levels before you pay. Any check you add later is priced in the Store from your own usage, as the extra it would add per month.

When something does happen

Alerts land on screen, by email, or as a JSON webhook into whatever the site already runs. One event fires one alert; a check firing again within two minutes is recorded as the same event continuing, not a new siren. A Daily Summary report can recap the shift in one email, which is usually how the smaller stuff surfaces: the blocked walkway, the zone entry nobody mentioned, the near miss at the same corner as last week.

When there is an incident, the same footage is searchable in plain English. Type “forklift reversing without a spotter” and jump straight to the moment, then piece together what actually happened in minutes rather than an afternoon of scrubbing. That speeds up investigations, and it makes toolbox talks more honest, because you're showing the real near miss from last Tuesday instead of a laminated diagram.

Getting started

Create an account at app.svid.ai, answer four questions about the site, and the price appears with its derivation before you pay. Then point Svid at the RTSP feeds from your existing recorder, or at a folder of exported footage from last month if you'd rather see what it finds before touching anything live. Cloud is the default; sites that can't send frames out can run the fully on-prem appliance mode, where local models do the work and nothing leaves the network.
